Somehow, you know

you weren’t called

to anything. You

enter the fish. You eat.

But why?

Laura Carter is a writer and poet living in Atlanta, where she completed her MFA in 2007. She has published several chapbooks since then, including three with Dancing Girl Press and a handful of others with other small presses. She lives in the suburbs these days.
